What is flexography?
Did you know that among all the printing systems in the world of Graphic Arts, there is one in which a large part of the pieces are intended for packaging is printed? We talk about flexography. Flexography is a direct rotary printing system in which flexible plates are used, in high relief, which transfer the image directly from the plate to any type of substrate.
It is perfect for printing graphics on all kinds of packaging thanks to the flexibility and adaptability of the printing plate on any type of substrate: from plastics (polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester films, etc.), paper and plastic bags, to corrugated cardboard. The type of ink used is also advantageous since it does not need a drying time, which speeds up the printing process.
